This Willy’s plan that we propose to you, is to do preferably in summer and we will take a full day. So it is important that you make yourselves comfortable, prepare something to eat and have your bath ready for a new adventure.
Peratallada: this small village of just 437 inhabitants, was declared a Historic-Artistic Site for having the best preserved medieval architecture in Catalonia. So we will start having breakfast among historic walls and visit beautiful streets full of traditions.
Pals: it is a very old historical monumental complex formed by a castle, a village and walls. Pals has a medieval historic center with a Romanesque tower built between the eleventh and thirteenth centuries, known as the Tower of the Hours. Inside the Gothic quarter of the village there are cobbled streets and round arches, facades with pointed windows and stone balconies. Undoubtedly a maximum representation of medieval art.
Cala Aiguablava: in this beach we will take a refreshing swim just 15 minutes drive from Pals. Here we will leave the car in one of the two parking lots that we will find just upon arrival. For this option it is important to know that there are two parking lots. The first parking lot is asphalted and it costs 3€ / hour or 30€ for the whole day. The second one, on the other hand, is a dirt road and costs €3 to park the vehicle.
Peratallada
One of the most fascinating things to do in Peratallada is to get lost in its narrow streets and discover the most charming corners of this village. Moreover, in Peratallada you can appreciate what was the splendor of the Middle Ages for Catalonia and its surroundings.
That is why the walled enclosure of Peratallada is the tourist attraction par excellence. This place gathers the greatest archaeological and monumental wealth of the whole town. A place that still preserves its rural structure with numerous stone arches and sculptures representative of medieval architecture. Right here we will find the castle palace built by the Romans in 1065 and admire the watchtower that was restored last century.

Pals
Located on the top of a hill and surrounded by plains, this village of 2,411 inhabitants has been reconstructed and is recognized to have existed since the 9th century. We could say that Pals is one of the oldest villages in the province of Girona and is even one of the furthest from the city of Girona, being about 40 km away.
The reason why it is worth coming to Pals, is its gothic space. A group of buildings characteristic of this art, which has been restored and is preserved in a very good condition. In this complex you can visit Ca la Pruna, one of the oldest and best preserved houses in the village. Take a stroll through the main square, enter the church of San Pedro or enjoy the views from the viewpoint of Josep Pla.
Aiguablava Cove
Our last stop and the most refreshing, is in the Cala Aiguablava . As its name translates, it is a cove of blue waters, very fine and golden sand. Being one of the most famous coves of the Costa Brava, it is very likely to find it full in summer, however being easily accessible has the privilege of arriving by boat or by road.
This beach is usually very exclusive and is one of the most exotic in the area. So it is easy to find restaurants and services for swimmers. Here fun goes hand in hand with adventure, so water sports are the favorite and you can find a great variety of them. So come and finish this route with a well-deserved rest in one of the most beautiful coves of the Costa Brava.
