and with less than 1 km2 of surface, which makes it one of the smallest municipalities in<strong> Catalonia<\/strong>. The small municipality is bounded by the confluence of the <strong>rivers Fluvi\u00e0<\/strong> and <strong>Toronell<\/strong>, between which rises the spectacular basalt wall.<\/p>\n<p>The profile of the church and the houses hanging over the basaltic wall, on the edge of the cliff, has become one of the most photographed and painted images of  <strong>Catalonia<\/strong>But it is also a magnificent natural viewpoint from which the valleys of the two rivers can be observed.<\/p>\n<p>As if it were a magical place,  <strong>Castellfollit de la Roca  <\/strong>It gathers more and more tourists to its encounter, and has become one of the obligatory photographs for many, besides being one of the hiking and cycling routes that gather a large number of athletes per year.<\/p>\n<p>So if you are in this place, be sure to take a walk along the paths of the Garrotxa Natural Park, and get to know this incredible volcanic area. Or visit the beautiful cliff of the village and the basaltic quarry from which the stones were obtained to build the  <strong>Parc G\u00fcell<\/strong>If you want to visit the city, take a look at the church of Sant Salvador dating from the twelfth century and if you dare we also recommend the Museum of sausage and the Vietnam Museum, by the way very recognized in this An ideal plan to enjoy the afternoon of our route with family, friends or even in a romantic plan with your partner.<\/p>\n<p>To access to the top of the church, you must first enter it (which is located at the end of the village, next to the town square), and pay a symbolic price of 3 \u20ac to climb on top of it and appreciate a 360\u00ba view of the whole landscape: On the one hand, we can appreciate the village from above, marveling at all the roofs of the houses, which draw a snake figure from the top of the rock. On the other hand, we will be able to see all the natural landscape of trees and
