Monestir St. Pere de Rodes:<\/strong> Although the origin of this monastery is unknown, its first documents date from the year 878 and we could say that it is preserved in very good condition. Being in the mountain of Verdera, from there, you can see incredible panoramic views of the bay of Port de la Selva<\/strong> and part of Cap de Creus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Llan\u00e7\u00e0<\/strong>: after a morning cultural visit, we suggest you to stop for lunch in the charming seaside village of Llan\u00e7\u00e0<\/strong>. Only about 25 minutes drive from our first place, we will arrive to this beautiful village glimpsed between mountains and with amazing sea views. And if you feel like it after lunch, you can take a walk along the coast and the seaport.<\/p>\n

Garbet beach<\/strong>: finally, we suggest you to relax on this modest and romantic beach of Garbet. This architectural ensemble is composed of a cloister, its bell tower, some cells, a dining room and a few other buildings around the monastery. In addition, the architecture of this place is the maximum representation of the Catalan Romanesque and which was built around the year 878.<\/p>\n

The Monestir St. Pere de Rodes <\/strong>is located in the mountain range from which it takes its name and faces the coast of Llan\u00e7\u00e0 and <\/strong>the south side of Port de la Selva<\/strong> and is undoubtedly one of the most visited viewpoints on the Costa Brava.<\/p>\n

The town of Llan\u00e7\u00e0 <\/strong>is full of traditions and lots of nature. With one of the most important natural environments at its feet, this beautiful village of Catalonia <\/strong>is the ideal place to make routes and excursions along its numerous coasts, as well as its beautiful forests full of charm.<\/p>\n

If you dare to pass through this place, we recommend sunbathing on one of its beaches, do some water sports (which by the way there is a great variety), climb the Castellar viewpoint <\/strong>You can also walk along the coast until you reach the promenade or take one of the megalithic routes that run through the town and tell the true history and development of this ancient municipality. To finish our route we will refresh ourselves in the beautiful Garbet Beach <\/strong>. This beach surrounded by nature is one of our favorite places on the Costa Brava and we are not lying when we say it is charming.<\/p>\n

This beach is located in the bay of Cap Ras <\/strong>. Despite being quite far away, it is usually easy to reach, and the beach has many services for swimmers and restaurants to eat something during the day.<\/p>\n
