In this route through Maresme <\/strong>we will visit the sites of the Foradada Vallromanes rock and the Mirador de la Cornisa, <\/strong>so we recommend you to bring prepared food, drinks for the road and good hiking shoes. In addition, this plan is ideal to do it in the afternoon, as it includes a walk through the forest and a viewpoint to enjoy the beautiful views of the Maresme.<\/p>\n

To begin with, we will be delighted by the wonderful environment of the Vallromanes forest, discovering the“Cova de la Foradada<\/strong>“: a curious stone with a central hole that attracts many curious people every weekend.<\/p>\n

This curious rock is located in the Serralada Litoral park<\/strong> and is one of the oldest and most representative archaeological remains of the strip.<\/p>\n

Why visit a rock in the middle of the forest? There is a very interesting reason. Neolithic buildings were mostly made of stones, which made them a great engineering challenge for the time, so finding such an ancient rock in perfect condition is really amazing. And if it were only this rock, during this hiking route it is likely to find remains of monoliths, dolmens and other legacies of a few centuries ago.<\/p>\n

This space was adapted in 2004, with the purpose of appreciating the views of Sant Mateu <\/strong>and as an additional privilege some important landmarks of Catalonia such as: the mountain of Montjuic, Tibidabo, La Conreria, the valley of Tei\u00e0, the hills on the valley side, as well as Montserrat, La Mola and Sant Lloren\u00e7 del Munt.<\/p>\n

Undoubtedly the Mirador de la Cornisa <\/strong>is a privilege for nature and for tourists because in this place you can enjoy all the comfort of services such as tables, benches, recreation areas and public restrooms. Making the visit much more pleasant and comfortable.
