In this Willy’s plan we will give you the honor to make a route from <\/strong>Monestir Sant Lloren\u00e7<\/strong> to <\/strong>Puig del Far, <\/strong>where we will discover why this region is one of the most beautiful in Catalonia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Be warned, this Willy’s plan is loaded with adventure and captivating scenery. And since we are going to spend the whole day doing our hike, it is essential to bring a good camera, snacks and drinks for the road; the rest of the fun is free.<\/p>\n

This route consists of 3 outdoor activities and the best visits to the viewpoints of Osona:<\/p>\n

First, we will visit the Monestir de sant Lloren\u00e7<\/strong>. One of the most important viewpoints of Sant Juli\u00e0 de Vilatorta<\/strong> and which has been declared a “Cultural Asset of National Interest”.<\/p>\n

The second place is the Salt de la Minyona<\/strong>. This small viewpoint of 832 meters high, is located on the plateau of “Les Guilleries”,<\/strong> in the middle of two cliffs that allow us to enjoy spectacular views.<\/p>\n

The Monastery of Sant Lloren\u00e7<\/strong>, <\/strong>is one of the first monasteries of Catalonia<\/strong> and is today one of the most visited spiritual enclosures in the world. Guardiola de Bergued\u00e0.<\/strong> Initially the Monastery of Sant Lloren\u00e7 <\/strong>served as a sacred Indo-European temple and it was right in this place where all religious experiences were celebrated several centuries ago. Our second stop will be at the Salt de la Minyona, <\/strong>a small viewpoint located on the plateau of the Guilleries <\/strong>. This cliff was formed from some geological variations of the terrain, until it took the vacuum and the height it has today.<\/p>\n

Its easy access allows the entry of many tourists and locals throughout the year. In addition, its road is suitable to go up by car, so it is a very good alternative if you do not want to go on foot.<\/p>\n

If we take the walking route, which is undoubtedly our recommended route. We will find a small chapel that houses a statue of the virgin. This small temple carved from a huge stone that was taking shape, until it became this beautiful altar.<\/p>\n

But what is really impressive about this place are the wonderful views it offers. From here you can see a large part of the Guilleries and the large plateau that surrounds it. By the way, as a curious fact, ask about the prose “the doll of the cliff”. Puig del Far <\/strong>is another of our tourist destinations in this Willy’s plan. This mountain is located in Vilanova de Sau, <\/strong>near the Sau reservoir <\/strong>. <\/p>\n

The ascent to this place is very easy to do and does not take much time. The summit is a real solid stone structure, developed after undergoing several geological transformations in its three types of rocks: sandstone, sandy and limestone.<\/p>\n

Mount Far, <\/strong>as it is also called. Invites you to see spectacular panoramic views of the Montseny and Catalan Pyrenees.
