This route that crosses the <\/strong>Santuari de Cura, the Parc Natural de Montdrag\u00f3 and the Santuari Sant Salvador, <\/strong>is ideal to do in a whole day, recommendably in your own vehicle, and it is a very good route to do in winter seasons (where the hours of sunshine are scarce).<\/p>\n

We start by going up to the Santuari de Cura<\/strong>, where there are incredible views. There we will be able to eat, drink something in the bar\/restaurant of the place. We continue to explore the Parc Natural de Montdrag\u00f3<\/strong>, with its paradisiacal coves and magical forests. To finish watching the sunset at the Santuari de Sant Salvador<\/strong>. This religious monastery is located at the top of the hill Puig de Randa in the town of Algaida, located in the south of the exotic island of Mallorca.<\/p>\n

The Parc Natural de Montdrag\u00f3 is <\/strong>a wonderful natural park that brings together the best of the sea and the mountains in one place. Continuing with our route of the sanctuaries of Mallorca. We arrived at the Santuari Sant Salvador<\/strong>, a 14th century monastery that was built during the Black Death, when it was believed that being in elevated areas could be a cure for the disease. A privilege of few who could enjoy the best views of the island, while sheltered from the pandemic.<\/p>\n

Today the Sant Salvador Sanctuary <\/strong>is completely restored, preserving its Gothic influence and most of the original paintings and religious monuments. Next to this monastery you can also appreciate the monument to Christ the King<\/strong>, which was inaugurated not more than a century ago.<\/p>\n

While tradition has made this place so popular, you should know that it is one of the favorite places for cyclists and hikers from all over Spain, who enjoy the challenge of climbing this beautiful part of the island.<\/p>\n
